During this pandemic, there have been many changes to our working day. We have had to make fluid decision in order to keep our team safe and stay open for all our patients.

We do feel for all the small business in our community who have been doing it tough, and see us as one of the fortunate ones. Thank you for supporting our business in the so many small ways. Whether it be purchasing your pets parasite control, special diets or treats from us, or those messages of kindness and encouragement. We have had small care packs provided for our staff along with so many delicious treats, which have all been appreciated.

It means so much to know that our local community is able to rally together and support not just us, but so many local businesses, who I am sure have had similar experiences.

Whilst the changes have not been ideal, we have always looked to take the best out of each day. After all we do get to come to work, meet all our wonderful clients, and best of all get to spend most of our day with so many pets.

Just this past week highlighted so many positives.

  • Sunshine appointments, who doesn’t love an outside appointment on the grass in the sunshine
  • Extra treats, when Mum and dad are not around, who is counting the number of treats we give.
  • The excited dog who who is happy to leave their owner and drag you all the way inside, (generally headingĀ  straight for the treat jar, which they know so well)
  • The content pooch who refuses to leave, because the attention was too much to give up
  • The puppy who becomes pass the parcel in a chain of cuddles.
  • The cat who doesn’t have to share a waiting room with barking dogs
  • The buzz in the car park as clients enjoy the sunshine and share stories (in a COVID safe way of course)
  • The client who is so grateful that we were able to provide an emergency appointment even though we were fully booked.
  • The client who says “yes of course I can change my appointment so that you can see that unwell patient”
  • The trust placed in us every single day to do what is best for a patient, and then getting thanked for it.
