At Brandon Park Veterinary Hospital we have always been committed to providing care for our sick and injured wild life and we will continue to do so when needed. We do need to take extra precautions however to ensure the safety of our staff and patients.
If you come across a sick bird our current advice is:
- If you must, and it is safe to do so place them a cardboard box.
- Wear gloves, a mask and eye protection
- Call us on 9560 6966 before arriving at the clinic
- When arriving leave the bird in your car and let us know you have arrived so we can provide further advice on our procedures to ensure the safety of our staff and hospital patients.
