Microchipping

Microchipping is not only important for your pets but also for the whole community as it promotes responsible pet ownership.

Pets are like family and losing one can be very distressing. By having your pet microchipped you can ensure that should they ever become lost, they are more likely to be returned to you.

The microchip is as small as a grain of rice, it is inserted just under the skin between the shoulder blades. It is safe and quick and can be done at any age.

Many councils, including the City of Monash, now require pets to be microchipped before registration.
